Short story ;;
The rain picked up its paces as I raced through the wooden world. I was so close to being back at home that my heart rate started to pick back up. As much as I loved the world of birds that I guarded I missed my home back at me own world. I missed my little bird and the friends that were there.
The portal was now in my sights as I ran towards my goal. The feathers on my back ruffled as I picked up speed. Once I was close enough I jumped into the portal returning to my home planet. I glanced up at the sky to seem the same sky I see every day with a sigh knowing I was back home I walked back to my cave. Once inside I smiled as my little hummingbird flew to entrance to great me. i had kept my walls lined with flowers and soon after a while they just started to grow there and within a week my hummingbird started to come and then he never left.
“Today was different.” I replayed as I tried to shake of my armor. “Someone had started a fire and lucky I had to stop it.” I paused and frowned. “It was harder than I thought it would be to take the fire out. I mean I am no water user. I should have asked Tear to come help.” I sighed as I went to go lay down. “It’s been a long day. I should rest I have practice latter today. You want to come?” I glanced up at the hummingbird to see his answer. When he didn’t give me a flap of his wings I sighed. “You’re no fun.” I mumbled before I feel asleep.
